Questions, answered.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new account starts with 3 days of Builder, free and with no card. You get Sigel with Max thinking and Wynfall Code, in the browser, in Wynfall Desktop and in your terminal, so you can try it on real work.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your chats stay where they are, and Sigel stays paused until you choose a plan. Starter is $10 a month, and nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
What happens when I reach my limit?
Sigel pauses until your room refills on its own: a little every few hours, and fully each week. You can move up a plan at any time. We do not plan any automatic overage charges, so you are never billed extra without choosing it.
Can I change plans?
Yes, any time. Upgrades start right away and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
What is Max thinking?
Max is the deepest thinking setting: Sigel takes longer to work through a hard problem before it answers. Every plan has it, and you choose it chat by chat. It uses your room a little faster, so save it for the hard ones.
Will you train on my work?
No. Nothing you give it trains a model, on any plan or trial, unless you send it to us as feedback. The rule is written into our Terms, not left to a setting.
How does annual billing work?
You pay once a year and save 17 percent: $100, $200, $500 instead of $120, $240, $600. Your room refills the same way either way, and the price does not change during a year you have already paid for.
What is a task?
One job running at the same time, such as a chat reply or a Wynfall Code job. Your plan sets how many can run side by side: 2 on Starter, 4 on Builder, 7 on Studio.
Who can sign up?
Anyone 13 or older. Sign up with an email code or a passkey. There is no waiting list and no card to start. You begin with a 3-day Builder trial, then choose a plan.
I am a tester. What plan am I on?
Testers are people we invited before Wynfall opened. A tester account is comped by us and its limits are set by us, so they can change while we test. Everything else works the same, including the privacy rule.
Will prices change?
Yes, over time. The prices on this page are founding prices. If you subscribe at a founding price, you keep it for as long as you stay subscribed. If you cancel and subscribe again later, you pay the price at that time. Any price change, for anyone, comes with at least 30 days notice by email, never takes effect partway through a billing period, and you can cancel before it applies.
Is there an API?
When API access opens, Starter, Builder and Studio can create API keys (up to 3, 5 and 8). The API is priced separately, and the rates will be published before it opens. Consumer subscriptions do not include API credit.
Can I buy a plan today?
Yes. Sign in and choose a plan under Settings, then Billing. Checkout is by Stripe, and you can cancel any time.
